Human Resources - System performance management and KPIs


Human Resources is responsible for initiating the process of performance evaluation for the department to evaluate the performance of its staff. On it, Human Resources is responsible for designing and developing the Performance Management system.

Human resources would need to know the company for its critical success factors. Human Resources plays a commercial partner of the company. The key performance indicators (KPI) must come from business indicators. These indicators can be tangible or intangible. By KPI in business, the department would then establish its own department KPIs. Most of us would be able to establish this level of KPIs such as Human Resources, organize workshops to ensure that all departments understand and acquire the "How-To" in the definition of KPIs, namely Finance / KPIs for cost, quality , key performance indicators KPIs of Customer Satisfaction, Employee Learning and structures KPI / KPI environment. Human Resourc would collect all this information and monitoring progress from quarterly, semi-annual to annual.

Human Resources also need to design and develop a reward system when the store KPIs are achieved. Before this development, reward system, performance evaluation for individuals, ie managers, executives and professionals. Each level requires different KPIs. By KPIs, paying special ex-gratia payment, bonus payment and non-monetary rewards, such as vacation trip, special celebration, recognition for the department or team and the individual would be taken into account in the design and development Awards system. Human Resources is to align the reward system to the Performance Management system with KPIs.

Human Resources should further evaluate the competence of employees. Similarly, in need of human resources to ensure the alignment of the core business of learning skills with individual skills. The resulting gap is the gap of learning to be closely through appropriate means, both online learning, mentoring, coaching, self-development or attending the course, workshops and seminars.

Performance appraisal is the process for establishing jurisdiction and the gap of learning, in addition to the reward system. Increased performance will depend on the inlet performance evaluation for the department and the management decision making.
