The Richest Man in Babylon Book Review

The Richest Man in Babylon is a book of inspiration that comes from the Babylonian parables on wealth and personal financial planning.

That's right boys, gather around the time of history! You get to hear the story of Babylon, a city that stands on the brink of an economic downturn, but because of the quick thinking of the King is able to find a solution to the economic disaster to the city.

After the great projects of the king were finished, the work force was able to find work to earn a wage. Because of this, farmers could not sell their products to local people and a few men with the "know how" were able to amass huge fortunes. The Richest Man in Babylon, Vasteras, is summoned before the king to explain how he became so rich.

The king learns that this method is teachable to the local population and almost immediately began Arkad his teachings.

Arkad teachings are about the seven "cures for a lean purse" that have a great resemblance to the advice given today's uncertain why everyone does not make you rich.

As you read you begin to see the familiar in these teachings, but you'll also become familiar with the amount of advice that did not take or use in your lives. The seven principles taught in this book are the essential components of almost all made fortunes, even in this new era.

This book is worth reading, but if you're used to receiving good advice and not act on it, this book can not be for you. I give this book 9/10 for the recurrence of the great stories of Babylon and the inspiration to use this advice in today's world .......
