What is Google AdWords?

Here is a brief definition of Google AdWords:

When you do a Google search, you'll probably see a list of boxes on the right side. These boxes are called sponsored links and advertisers pay Google to put their ads there. But only pay Google when someone clicks on your ad.

As an affiliate / internet marketer, your job is to send people to the merchant's site where you get paid commissions on any sales you can generate. You can reach people when they are actively looking for information about your products and services online, and send targeted visitors directly to what you're offering.

That's why it is important to know some secrets of Google AdWords.

To set up an AdWords account to AdWords vai the page and follow the instructions.

Choose a product to sell

Google AdWords Help on choosing a product

There are a lot of affiliate networks and affiliate programs online which allows you to independently promote almost anything you want. To start I recommend one of the following affiliate networks:

ClickBank.com CJ (Commission Junction) Linkshare.com

Just visit the sites and search for products that you think could be promoted.

Finding profitable keywords

To search on keywords I recommend the free Google Keyword Tool:

* Keyword relevance is very important! This means that a keyword is only good if it is relevant not only for the product you are promoting, but also for the current page that you are promoting. Google will punish you by giving you a higher click rate if the keyword does not fit this criterion. * It 's also very effective way to advertise using keywords that include the product you are promoting. You can use the product or the company name. * If you add "buy" or "buy" to any product will become one of the highest converting keywords that you have. * Also be sure to use keywords singular and plural. This will bring you even more traffic. * Also use misspellings in your keywords. Although these keywords are not receiving large amounts of traffic, you can get high quality traffic with them.

Create a campaign

* The first thing to do is turn off the content network, because for most products the content does not convert into sales. * Set your daily budget a little 'more, as you normally would, because Google is unlikely to reach this limit. * The actual text in your ad should contain the exact keywords that are within your ad group. Make sure all keywords are relevant to your ad and product. * Also create ad groups. This is just a way to organize your keywords, but it helps a lot. This group must have only a small amount of keywords in it. I would not make more than 20. This technique increase the CTR (click through ratio). * In order to create highly relevant ad groups is important to group your keywords together with the method "common" keyword. If all the keywords at least one common word you will be able to use this word in your adcopy (title and description)

Write the text

The text is the text in an ad (title and description).

* Use your common word in adcopy as possible, and particularly used in the title. * Focus on the relevance of the ads. If your ad does not contain the exact keywords that the person has just performed in their research, which are probably not going to click on your ad. * Delete not buyers. Show price in the ad and will only attract people who are willing to spend money. * Use call to action phrases. It informs the researcher that they will have to run some kind of action within the website that are about to visit.

Example: "Join ....", "Sign up now ...", "Click here ...."

Quality Score

Quality Score is a dynamic variable calculated for each keyword. It combines a variety of factors and measures how relevant your keywords and ad text to a user's search query. Quality Score affects your keywords minimum CPC and position in search results. It could also affect whether or not your ad is displayed even up. A high quality score is net of minimum bid low and higher ad placement. Your goal is to achieve a quality score so you can get a high position and pay less per click. The quality score is based on the following 5 variables:

For Content

When you have content related keywords within your ad, it will increase your quality score.

CTR

The click through ratio is the percentage of clicks your ad receives in relation to the number of search impressions.

In History

If your AdWords account has performed badly in the past, automatically assumes that the announcement will be low quality with the new ad group as well. Sometimes it makes sense to delete and recreate an old campaign so as not to have a story on this.

For Grouping

Create ad groups also increases the quality score and also increases the importance of ad copy for your keywords.

Landing Page Content

The most relevant page is your landing, the higher the quality of the search result. So Google will increase your quality score.

Common Mistakes

* Duplicate URLs

Google does not allow multiple instances of the same URL under the same keywords in their paid search results. The possibility that someone else is doing you a higher bid on a keyword is rather high. This is only for direct connection, of course. So either you try to increase the supply and beat the competitor, or create your own landing page.

* Using only Broad Match Type

To optimize the keywords for the best performance you should use Broad, Phrase and Exact match type options. Example:

Broad Keyword: Google AdWords Keyword phrase: "Goolge AdWords' Keyword Exact: [Google AdWords]

Use them all in your ad groups.

* The keywords targeted

Once again, the keywords should be targeted. If they are not relevant to the ad and the product is sold, you will have a score of lesser quality.

AD * Positions are too low

When the CPC is too low, the position will be greater than 10 and not on the first page of search results. To the best traffic try to be in position 3-8.
