Tips trade show event
If you are planning to organize an exhibition event in the upcoming trade show, you must start by assessing your business goals and objectives for what you want to achieve in your trade show display appearance. Once you have determined why you are presenting, then you will need to match your trade show display with your event in order to enhance seamlessly the same message. Your trade show should be fully integrated into your marketing message stand at the fair.
This seems common sense, but sometimes the trade show event planning goes haywire. A good example of an event does not match the fair is in possession of an elegant black tie affair for computer engineers in your company who live and work every day in sports shirts and jeans.
Karla Krause-Miller, Director, Cappa & Graham, Inc., a professional event planning company in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, offers some important tips for planning of trade show:
1. Decide what type of event was based on marketing objectives of your business and sales objectives. Want a small intimate gathering or want to have a free-for-all event that you are not selective screening of your guests? Also watch out for breakfast seminars that may be too early for a party crowd. It is probably safer to have a welcome cocktail, but check first with the conference trade show management to see if they have a program of an event that conflicts with the date and time.
6. Create buzz and fun in your collection. Do something different that will stand out. Since people like to get involved, it would be a good idea to have your guests dress up as characters from old movies to show a film by Charlie Chaplin and serve a little 'popcorn. Or rent the local bowling center or ice rink.
7. You do not need a big budget to succeed. This is a myth.
If you go bowling, you can give away bowling shirts with the names of the participants selected in advance. Karla Krause-Miller said that in such an event has chosen the "Alley Cat" and bore the name in bowling and a group photo of "his team".
Thinking in terms of who your participants are, and designing something unusual and fun, you will be able to have a successful event - whether it is near the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, the Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, the 'Moscone Center in San Francisco, Santa Clara Convention Center San Jose McEnery Convention or the Center.
