5 ways to get more traffic to your website

If you are an Internet marketer, you know that the lifeblood of your business is generating traffic. If people are not visiting your site, you are not going to sell anything. The number one problem in the mind of every Internet marketer, how do I generate more traffic?

The first way to generate more traffic is to post in the forum. There are forums for nearly every niche out there and many of them appear on the front page of the search term for the keyword you are targeting. So, do a search for related forums, publish valuable content (not just spam these forums), and then in the signature box, post a link to your website. Some of these web forums are "below", which means that if you put a link to their Web site will get a link bax, and get a high number of backlinks is the key to high rankings in search engines. Unfortunately, many of these forums are "no follow" which means that you will not get a backlink, but this is still a tactic that you want to use since many Internet users will go to the forum when you have a question about something.

The second generation of tactical traffic that we're going to talk about is the advertising is ads. What everyone thinks is Craigslist. So this is a strategy that I would not spend a huge amount of time, but it's something you want to try. And, who knows, maybe the person who might not even notice that you posted on their blog and you might be able to get a backlink from this as well as some traffic.

Another way to obtain the traffic is to create something software. You can easily create the software and submit it for free at sites like Download.com. Offer something free in there and then tell the person who downloaded the product that they need to go to your website in order to obtain more information. This is also a great way to build lots of backlinks, because there are literally thousands of download sites you can submit to.

Article marketing is a great way to get traffic because a lot of these articles directory sites have hundreds of thousands of visitors every day. Furthermore, the content sites tend to rank very highly in search engines so that the key phrase you are trying to target could easily get to the first page of search engines fairly quickly .......
